DC Acquatics Club
DCAC is a high-energy swim team and social club whose mission is to promote competitive and fitness swimming for lesbians & gays and their friends in a team-oriented, professionally-coached setting. Established in 1988, DCAC is dedicated to promoting the sport of swimming. All swimmers, regardless of sexual orientation, sex, race, color, religion, age, or national origin are invited and welcome to join. With close to 150 swimmers, DCAC ranks as one of the largest USMS teams in the Potomac Valley region, is one of the largest 50 teams in the U.S., and is one of the largest (primarily, but not exclusively) gay and lesbian teams in the world.  Washington Mystics Pride Night
The Washington Mystics and Team DC are proud to announce the inaugural Pride Night. Come OUT to support he Mystics as they take on the Los Angeles Sparks. Tip off is at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 31. DC Front Runners Spring Fling Weekend—May 16-18
Join DC Front Runners for a weekend of running, walking, socializing and fun—our annual Spring Fling! This year’s Spring Fling weekend events (May 16-18) includes a Friday night out, the Capital Hill Classic 10K and a pre-race dinner at HRC. Newcomers are also welcome to our Saturday, May 17, Fun Run and Walk on the National Mall. Meet in front of Union Station at 9:30 a.m. walk, 10 a.m. run.  Monthly Beer Bust Night AND a Yard Sale to benefit Federal Triangles
Each third Friday of the month at the Green Lantern (L Street between 14th and Vermont, NW) is Team DC Beer Bust night beginning at 8:30 and features a different club. The Federal Triangles Soccer Club will be there in May to pour beer and show off their gorgeous legs. The Feds offer a Skills Building Team as well as opportunities for both men and women to play. Team DC strives to promote excellence, integrity, and good sporting conduct in individual and team sports. Team DC also provides a network, which helps and encourages athletic participation by the LBGT community and others in local, regional, national and/or international athletic events or
competitions. Team DC is a member
of the
General Assembly in the Federation of Gay Games.
